Commercial Systems Programme
The Group invested in a multi-year programme of work called the Commercial Systems Programme (CSP). We successfully delivered the infrastructure design for the application in on-premise and Cloud. The role was to define the end-to-end solutions meeting proposed business requirements.
- Merchandise & Assortment Planning (MAP) : Replaced existing Legacy Merchandise System to new Merchandise & Assortment Planning solution available from JDA. Deploy Prod, Pre-Prod, Dev, Test, UAT and Training environments in Dixons Primary and Secondary datacentres. New MAP system consist of 3 different application to achieve business objectives thus delivered end to end Infrastructure design for MAP Enterprise Planning (EP), MAP Assortment Optimisation (AO) and MAP Assortment Planning (AP).
- Forecasting & Replenishment (F&R) : Replaced existing Legacy Manugistics system to new Forecasting & Replenishment solution available from Oracle. Deploy Prod, Pre-Prod, UAT, ST and SIT environment in IBM North Harbour and IBM Farnham Datacentres. New F&R system consist of 2 different application to achieve business objectives thus delivered end to end Infrastructure design for Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) and Oracle Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP).
- Macro Space Planning (Space) : Picked up the Space design from the previous architect and added the Citrix, Oracle Physical Standby Replication and backup Strategy to the design.
All above infrastructure designs comprised of following building blocks and technology to meet the functional and none functional requirements.
